Tandro Safety Principles

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Helping people meet — safely and respectfully.

Tandro is designed to help people coordinate meetups and connect in real life. While the platform makes it easier to find a midpoint and coordinate arrival times, the safety and comfort of our community is important to us.

These Safety Principles outline how we encourage users to interact on Tandro.

1. Meet in Public Places

When meeting someone for the first time, we recommend choosing public locations such as:

  • restaurants
  • cafés
  • parks
  • shared venues

Public spaces help create a safer environment for everyone involved.

2. Share Location Thoughtfully

Tandro offers optional features like ETA sharing and location sharing to help coordinate arrivals.

These tools are designed to make meetups easier, but users should share location information only with people they trust.

We encourage users to:

  • disable location sharing after a meetup concludes
  • avoid sharing home addresses
  • use ETA sharing instead of precise location when possible

Location sharing is always user-controlled and optional.

3. Sharing Photos Respectfully

Tandro allows users to share profile photos and event-related photos to help create a more engaging community.

When sharing photos on the platform, users should:

  • Only upload photos they have permission to share
  • Respect the privacy of others who may appear in photos
  • Avoid posting images that could embarrass, harass, or harm another person

Users should not upload photos that include:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Hate speech or discriminatory imagery
  • Images intended to shame or intimidate others

Photos that violate our Community Standards or Terms of Service may be removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension or removal.

4.  Trust Your Instincts

If something feels uncomfortable or unsafe during a meetup, trust your instincts.

You always have the option to:

  • leave a meetup
  • end communication
  • block another user

Your safety and comfort come first.

4. Be Respectful

Tandro is built on respectful connections.

Users are expected to:

  • treat others with courtesy
  • communicate honestly
  • respect personal boundaries

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior are not tolerated on the platform.

5. Protect Your Personal Information

We recommend avoiding the sharing of sensitive information such as:

  • home address
  • financial details
  • personal identification numbers

Use the platform’s messaging and coordination tools instead of sharing unnecessary personal details.

6. Report Concerns

If you experience or observe behavior that violates our community standards, please report it.

Reports help us keep the community safe.

You can contact us at support@tandro.app

Reports may result in:

  • warnings
  • content removal
  • account suspension
  • permanent account removal

7. Our Role

Tandro provides tools to help users coordinate meetups and discover places to connect.

However, Tandro does not:

  • verify the identity of users
  • supervise meetups
  • conduct background checks

Users are responsible for their own interactions and decisions when meeting others.

Building a Responsible Community

Tandro works best when everyone participates responsibly.

By using the platform, you agree to follow these Safety Principles and help create a respectful environment for others.
